  • How do I get to Hope Town?

    Hope Town is just 4 miles off of Abaco, where Marsh Harbour, the city of Abaco, is located. Abaco is conveniently less than 180 miles east of Florida and about 100 miles northeast of Nassau, New Providence.


    It takes just four easy steps to get to Hope Town:



    1- Fly into Marsh Harbour, Abaco, either commercial or private. 


    2- Take a 15-minute taxi ride to the Albury’s or G&L Ferry Dock.


    3- Take a 20-minute ferry ride to Hope Town, Elbow Cay. 


    4- Firefly Sunset Resort shuttle will pick you up from the Lodge Dock in Hope Town Harbour and bring you to the resort.

  • How do I get to the ferry dock?

    Taxi's are always waiting outside the Marsh Habour airport! We often recommend:

  • What's the ferry schedule?

    Scheduled ferries into Hope Town Harbour can be found below:

    Please let the ferry captain know to drop your party at the Lodge Dock. Private charter ferries directly to Firefly Dock can also be arranged.

  • Once in Hope Town Harbour, how do I get to Firefly?

    If you've completed the check-in form and let us know which scheduled ferry you're arriving on, our shuttle (a light blue van with Firefly's logo) will be waiting for you at the Lodge Dock to bring you to the resort.

  • If I need to advise of changes in my arrival, who do I call?

  • How do I check-in and get my golf cart?

    Once you arrive at the resort, our team will assist you with checking in. After you have been checked in, we will call the golf cart company to bring your golf cart to the villa.


    *Please note that your villa is typically ready at 3:00 p.m., but we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Should I make dinner reservations?

    We highly suggest making dinner reservations to dine with us.
